There is the environmental stuff (like Apollo) and his pop / rock / band oriented stuff. Some of my favorite Eno albums by genre:

    Environmental / Ambient

    Apollo
    On Land
4th World volume one: Possible Musics

    Pop / Rock Band stuff

    Roxy Music - Roxy Music
Roxy Music - For Your Pleasure
    Here Come the Warm Jets
    Another Green World
    Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy
    Before and After Science

    Great Collaborations

    David Bowie - Heroes
    David Bowie - Low
    David Bowie - Lodger
    Robert Fripp - No Pussyfooting
David Byrne - My Life in the Bush of Ghosts
David Byrne - The Catherine Wheel
John Cale - Wrong Way Up
Harold Budd - Pavilion of Dreams
Harold Budd - Plateau of Mirror
John Hassel - Dream Theory in Malaya

In addition Eno is a producer of some huge bands over the years including Genesis (Land Lies Down on Broadway), Devo (Q: Are we not Men? A: We are Devo!), Talking Heads (More Songs...through Remain in Light), U2 (Unforgivable Fire, Joshua Tree, Rattle and Hum, Achtung Baby, Zooropa), Peter Gabriel (Us), INXS (Full Moon, Dirty Hearts) Massive Attack (Protection) etc.

Molly Bloom is also a huge Eno fan, moreso I think than I am acutally. He may have other favorites / suggestions.

    • No Way Out - Peter Gabriel
saw a group of people forming
      round a figure lying down
and someone runs to make a phone call
and the man kneels on the ground
the man kneels on the ground
the man kneels on the ground
there's a tightening in my chest,
i know that i'm drawn in
oh god let it not be - you

      don't leave us
      don't leave like this
      don't leave me here again
      i'm not quitting on you
      there's no one else
      you're not quitting on us
      no running out
the colour in your shirt is darkening,
against the paleness of your skin
i remember how you held the goldfish
swimming around in a plastic bag
swimming around in a plastic bag
you held it up so high
in the bright lights of the fair
      it slipped and fell
      we looked everywhere

don't leave us (your eyes are bright, your blood is warm)
don't leave like this (your heart is strong, you're holding on)
don't leave me here again (i feel your pulse, i hold your hand)
      i'm not quitting on you
      there's no one else
      you're not quitting on us
      there's no way out
      no way out
      don't leave us
      don't leave like this
don't leave me here again (i feel your pulse, i hold your hand)

Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

I have returned, with pipe and aviator glasses akimbo.

            Today's listening pleasures were:

Goldfrapp 6 track promo (tracks from Felt Mountain & Black Cherry)

Roy Budd: Get Budd 1 (selections from his various excellent film soundtracks)

Toumani Diabate's Symmetric Orchestra: Boulevard De L'Independance (great for that early morning hot summer vibe)

& The Legendary Marvin Pontiac: Greatest Hits (a hoot).

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
