I wouldn't buy those albums for the title alone. What a silly title. Not to mention that I don't like trance.
Some recent acquisitions:
- Brian Eno-David Byrne, My Life in the Bush of Ghosts. Its OK. It hasn't aged very well, IMO.
- Brian Eno, Another Green World. I got the remastered version. Here's my initial reaction. Its OK. Very well produced. And it doesn't sound at all like an album produced in 1975. So maybe it was ahead of its time. But if you listen to the songs themselves... I don't know, but I can't help but feel that its overated somehow.
- Autechre, Untitled. Initial reaction: Meh... Some good moments, but I'm not impressed so far. But I'll have to listen to it a couple more times before I reach a verdict. My favs are still Incunabula and Tri repetae++.

Bush of Ghosts - Kind of a knock-off as far as writing, more of an excuse to get smoking hot instrumentalists to do their thing on a concept album. There are some good grooves on the album, great drums / bass / guitar always.
Another Green World - This album suffers from the same thing that much old but really influential music does. Everyone has been influenced by it for so long that it doesn't sound original. It's not my favorite of Eno's, but as you say there are some really fantastic tracks engineering wise. Some of the quiet tracks take on a whole new quality when you play them loud enough to hear how complicated they actually are.
He's got the Midas touch.
But he touched it too much!
