I had some SCA friends (really more gaming colleagues) in high school and college, but neither me or my close friends were flamboyant enough for true SCA-dom.He's got the Midas touch.

SKA is the swedish acronym, meaning "Sällskapet för Kreativ Anakronism". A direct translation of SCA.

When I was in high school my best friend's older brother and his wife were really in to this. We went to a few of the SCA "Faires" and watched people hack and slash but I never got into it. The people seemed to have a good time but 90% of them seemed like they couldn't get laid in a whore house with a stack of $100 bills.
