This leadership battle is going to get uglier because it seems that only the Majority Leader's position is up for grabs but there are people already campaigning for positions that aren't being chosen (I.E. the Whip). It seems like that some people in the rank and file will try to force a full slate of elections instead of just the Majority leader.

So far the next whip will most likely be Eric Cantor

Rumor has it that it's going to be either Blunt or Boehner, with Blunt running into stiff opposition from those who think that he's trying to sneak into the post with little risk to himself (i.e. full conference elections where he could safely remain whip).
