Nah. the Vikings were granted the county of Rouen in 911. The invasion was we-all-know-when, so that's plenty of time to develop culture etc.

Even if they still did that, that'd just be some cultural heritage they neevr got rid of. The term Viking just isn't used for anyone who doesn't come from Scandinavia, boldly speaking. I'd even say it's an anachronism for the time we're talking.Comment
