The U.S. should be. I can't believe the stuff that goes on in Colorado City and no one does anything about it!
I know this is a slight threadjack. But people act like these problems only occur in certain areas of the world. Or in middle eastern countries. Oppression of women happens everywhere!Comment

This has been a huge problem for British women for years. Before the wars, I read of some Brits who were forced to marry in Yemen, and who were forced to have kids. They are held at gun point, and to keep them from fleeing the country, when they go to town to get anything, their children are kept behind. Parts of Yemen are no go zones for westerners, so I don't know if this extraction team can get them.
Still, a great thing that Britain is doing for its people.

The government should definately do something about it, though voluntary polygamy shouldn't be illegal.

I wonder if Britain should consider these forced marriages legal? In the UK we've had several "honour killings" carried out by middle eastern familes on women (and the men they wanted to marry) who refuse to go into arranged marriages.Comment
