krazyhorse definitely knows what he is talking about.

As for starting with Sklansky - no, I disagree. He has a lot of good stuff, but even his "beginner" material is fairly advanced.

Super System is an easy read, and gives more real-world applicable no limit advice. Everyone is playing no limit these days, so that is the game you should learn. Limit is all about pot odds and math, while no limit is more about implied odds, selective aggression, and psychology. Two totally different animals.
