Clearly a botched legal decision. Any business that promotes having sex with multiple partners in the age of AIDS certainly must be considered as inherently adverse to public health and welfare.

I totally agree with Asher on this. I also can't see what's wrong with the SC interpreting indecency as they did.

The issue seems to be that nye has a different opinion to the SC.

I also don't see why Asher's boyfriend couldn't have several husbands if that's what he wants, or even several husbands and wives.

        Yep.

This libertarian can support the Conservatives as long as they stick to fiscal policy.

I like the SCC decision but agree with NYE re the Martin issue of disavowing any responsibility.

You're such a trooper to continue to claim a right for the public to meddle in the affairs of private businesses when it comes to smokers, but swap shops of sex as a business are A-OK.

          What an idiotic double standard.
So long as the shops are regulated -- regular STD tests, they supply condoms, etc. I don't see it as a health problem.

Plus, people who have sex regularly are known to be healthier.

Do you want to tax swingers clubs, Asher?

Are you that good a Liberal?
Of course they should be taxed!

Marijuana should be legalized and taxed, too, while we're at it.

We wouldn't have to raise taxes, and we'd be able to better fund our healthcare, if our government realized that leaving lucrative businesses like marijuana dealing to the black market is a huge loss of potential tax money, and huge funding for crime organizations at the same time.

It's my understanding that condoms are usually provided by the facility (and the same is true for bath houses).

It really does not compare to the cost of treating a lung cancer patient.
