Giving lillies to people

I was told lillies were a Swedish (?) funeral flower? any ideas?

so do cats just instinctively keep away from lillies, or just foolishly die wherever lillies are?

cats are stupid. If they are such a superior animal, why can't they handle a simple flower?

They can handle bee and wasp stings a lot beter than we can.

Makes you wonder. You'd think animals would be smart enough to stay away from these things. But they aren't. And dogs aren't smart enough to stay away from chocalate.

But in many cases pets do seem smarter than humans. You see so many cases of humans doing stupid things they know are dangerous. You don't see pets doing these things.
