  • Oxford Polymeet

The UK Polytubbies talked about having a meet in Oxford, being nice and close to London. Since Mao's here as a visiting student next term, anyone up for having one? I can easily take a day or two off and show any visitors around the city/get them ridiciously drunk, and I've got space for a few people to stay over if needs be (while I only have one room, it's 'nicely sized' ), plus you can book out guest rooms in college - at a cheap rate if you're Provost. I'm sure I could ever call in a couple of favours if many people want to.

A weekend in Feb that isn't 11/12th would be great for me, and nicely in the middle of term.

If anyone international polytubbies fancy a trip over, I can put them up and show them round, especially those who've been so hospitable to me (Spiffor, Lauri, Rasbey... ).

Is it a good idea? Anyone up for coming?

Yeah, I'm up for it, and the walk around Oxford too - it's been quite a while since I had a proper explore...I think the last person I took there was Ecthy although we didn't get that much time to have a really good look!

I'll hazard a guess at the 25/26th Feb being the best dates, though when's Lauri here? Would be great to show you here!
