Not only are you violating the law, you're trying to take the law into your hands illegitimately. Ever heard of road rage? Not to mention the fact that you're corrupting the flow of traffic. If every car in every lane were moving at the same speed, well... think of a blood clot, but with cars. You set up the beginnings of a traffic jam, which is bad for everyone, you make it very difficult for other drivers to change lanes, and you increase the likelyhood of a chain reaction accident involving more vehicles than would otherwise be invovled if it weren't moving as a clot thanks to you, the hall monitor.

Thank God and sensible legislators for anti-slow driver laws and cops willing to bust your kind

Absolutely true... If you want a race, well there are racetracks for that purpose; but not on the public roads!

Who said anything about racing on the road or freeway? F*cked if my Explorer can reach 70mph without shaking as if it were mixing a martini.

maybe for the same reason that people buy treadmills, set of weights, and STILL stay unfit.

I thought the thread was about fast sports cars... and that they should be bought to drive 'em fastly

So... people racing around with their fancy cars should be banned ffs!

I want to carjack the people I see driving the new Mustangs that are going slow. What a waste of a beautiful vehicle.

Racing involves other vehicles, Dis just wants to go fast. While I don't think public roads and highways are the place for driving such vehicles to their potential, more generally there's nothing wrong with going a little faster than other cars on the road. God forbid you should pass traffic on your right (or the left depending on which side of the road your country drives on) at a speed that allows you to pass in a reasonable amount of time/distance. Taking a full minute to pass a sub-compact is not a reasonable amount of time to take to pass. Acting like a motorcyclist's wingman for 3 miles is not a reasonable distance to take to pass.

Problem with America is that everyone needs to drive to get anywhere, even those who hate it or can't do it properly.

Why do people buy huge houses with lots and lots of bathrooms? It's not like they can use all of them at the same time.

I like having multiple bathrooms, as it is easier to conserve water without the stench becoming overbearing... I DO IT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT!

Haha that reminds me of something a friend in school told me when we were kids, his older sister would come yelling at him if he left the water running for longer than the absolute necessary to take what he wanted to drink or wash something. She would say something like.

"What about the people in Africa who have no clean water, don't waste it when they don't have any!!"

A couple of weeks later I read in the local paper that officials were worried that there wasn't enough water moving around in the water tower and pipes to ensure that harmful bacteria couldn't grow. He urged people to use more of the cold water.
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars
