today, the engineers have run off or sold plans to China, theres not enough crews to train them, half of them are rusty, the soldiers sell off metal and bullets to make enough to eat, and the treads are bald.

otherthan that, you guys are in good shape.

In current U.K. news, the Venerable Bede is a bit doubtful about literacy in the Northumbrian area.

He's also concerned about some nasty Viking chaps.

Pres. Clinton proposed his initiative years ago based on the data gathered during his term. The NCLB Act is a cynical farse because Bush never properly funded it in the first place. Hell some states tried getting out of having to abide by the act because of that fact and a judge told them no, they have to abide even without the necessary funds. Progress was already being made without Bush's tinkering. He's simply trying to corrupt the public education system in an attempt to foster an environment for "faith-based" education: Parents shopping around for "public" schools that seem to perform better, though the reality would be they simply take tests better. If the entire curiculmn of the school year is focused on preparing for an end-of-year assessment test under the NCLB, is it really education?

And keep in mind, Pres. Bush has provided us with such gems as, "Is our children learning?" and "I know how hard it is to put food on your family." I wouldn't trust Bush to teach bread how to get moldly, let alone any of his education initiatives.

I saw this tank with my own eyes on the proving grounds. It's being manufactured in my home city and it's kickass.

So you have a cottage industry of playground equipment sets as pictured above. Good for you. Your economy must be booming.

I didn't know Playmobil had a plant in Russia. Isn't that the model that makes realistic sounds when you push the button on the back of it?
