    my grandma recently had a colonoscopy, and got her colon preforated..

    needless to say it was a scary time and she spent some time in the hospital

        I don't think that they really facilitate weight loss. They only remove stool, which your system was going to get rid of anyway.


        You can get enema kits without a prescription in most drug stores. Enjoy.

                        there is a difference jm the enema olnly cleans the lower portion of the colon the colonic cleans the whole colon. As for your grandma colon perferations happen that is a risk told to you going in for the procedure. However it takes soem talent to do so. If you have a good gastroenterlogist most of the time you wont come out of the procedure with a colon rescetion. In my experience the docs that perferote the colon are usually the general surgeons, not the ones specificly trained to do these procedures.
                        I will add neither one the colonic or the enema are very pleasant procedures. If it is done be prepared to spend the evening with you favorite book in the bathroom
