  • I have fallen in love . . . .

with Firefox (for web browsing) and Thunderbird (for use with my gmamc account).

Did I also mention how I absolutely love McAfee for virus and privacy protection? For intsance, when I accessed Apolyton just now, amazon.com.uk tried to obtain my residence address and I denied their access.

I was using McAfee until I tried AVG Antivirus....
It's free, light on memory, and he succeed to delete all the virus I had on my computer. Not like Norton or McAfee....

        So my thread can be:
I fall in love with... McAfee... and Firefox!

The only thing I dislike from FireFox it's when I open a new windows(Ctrl-N), it doesn't open in the webpages where i am in my first windows, but he open on my Homepages.

        see ya

For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

                      .com.uk isn't a real domain ending. So amazon.com.uk isn't really amazon.

It is nice, though I like the mouse gestures in Opera an awful lot.

OTOH I've seen Opera crash hard enough to take the machine down, requiring a reinstall. :/

There are extensions that can give you mouse gestures in Firefox too. E.g.
                            All-in-One Gestures
                            Mouse Gestures

I don't see how a second or two makes that much of a difference.
