          The Porcelain God

The Porcelain God is one of the most popular and well known gods worldwide. Nearly every home with indoor plumbing has an altar to the porcelain god within its realm. The altar of the porcelain god even shows up in office buildings, commercial establishments and industrial facilities. While everyone may not pay homage at the altar of the porcelain god it is an everpresent aspect of many peoples lives.

Paying Homage to the Porcelain God is an easy process.

          1. The first step in paying homage to the Porcelain God is to begin imbibing of the spirit of fermentation.

          2. After imbibing of the spirit of fermentation continue to enjoy the spirit until you feel the spirit of the Porcelain God move your heart.

          3. When the spirit of the Porcelain God has entered your heart you may now approach the altar of the Porcelain God.

          4. At this point you should reverentially lift the protective lid upon the altar.

          5. The Next phase of praying at tha altar of the Porcelain God is to place your head into the rim of the altar.

          6. Now you may begin praying at the altyar of the porcelain god while offering the sacrifice.

          7. The prayers should only be based upon the grunts and moans of the repentant person.

          8. The sacrifice you must offer is the contents of your digestive tract that the Porcelain God demands.

          9. The final step in praying at the altar of the Porcelain God is to pull the handle of the altar and release the sacrifice.

          10. After praying at the altar you may now feel refreshed and clean yourself knowing that the Porcelain God is very proud.

With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Actually spending time thinking about figments of human imagination, esp. literary ones such as this can be quite beneficial. literature

I am not religious, but the closest I can find to your question is me contemplating with myself the meaning of life, the future, etc. I spend 3-4 hours a week, I guess, on this.
I'm not going to study a book (the bible) that condemns me. It is not of particular significant to me. Religion is a complete waste of time.
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

Well I don't believe in exercise. It's just an age old figment of some crazy person's imagination.

how so? The game does all the number crunching. If you go by the recommended actions the computer gives you (though no one does that), you don't have to do anything in the game except watch the pretty screen.
