You got bit by the rare Swedish Pine Spider. At first, victims feel a little pain or numbness in their hands for a few weeks, then BAM!, they wake up and their whole arm's fallen off.
Well, I went to the doctor today. He said it wasn´t CTS, just a minor inflammation in the muscles in my lower arm, neck and shoulder. He prescribed some pills (that wreaks havoc with my stomach unfortunately ) And a kind of elastic sock that I wear on my arm to keep it warm and for support.
There´s no need for surgery or anything like that, which is a relief
Cool, Dr Z. Did he say that you should lay off the chainsaw, or get anti-vib gloves, or anything like that?

No, just that I should think about not putting too much strain on the inflammated muscles. Thankfully I don´t have a production quota to fill. I can take a lot of pauses and work at a slower pace. He also told me to get a harder pillow for my bed so i don´t sleep on my arm.

Thank God.
He's a lumberjack and he's OK
