Here it's used about drivers that enters motorways in the wrong direction. It isn't fun going 140 expecting no traffic against you and suddently here comes one - maybe also going 140 - and you have to act like going 280 .
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

I've been a victim of the phenomenon twice (both times in the USA). I'm just unsure why its called a 'ghost driver'.

but then the car companies design these cars where the lights come on automatically. I hate that.

How can you stalk somebody and follow them with your lights off?

                    something like that.

I've never done it, but it seems to work so well in the movies.

Film stalkers - wether they are good or bad guys - would not last long i RL

A minor correction - considering how some drivers drive, they actually may have succes stories to tell.

I've seen it once. Fortunately, there wasn't much traffic at that time.

we don't have many one way streets in my city. Because of this, of our few one way streets, people always go the wrong direction down them. It's like they never heard of a one way street before, or know how to read signs.

How does one manage to enter in the wrong direction? Do they somehow miss all the "Do Not Enter" and "Wrong Way" signs on the ramps?

To get on the highway in the wrong direction one has to be driving down the normal road in the wrong direction... I just can't see that here. It boggles the mind.
