I don't really know anything about Jauron though....Captain of Team Apolyton - ISDG 2012

I keep hearing he's a real nice man. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Come on, we all know that Jauron was picked to help the Lions get Matt Leinhart.

Jauron on the lions ...
Ahh, man, that's sweet. Now we don't have to worry about what the lions will choose if they win the coin flip, at least.
Though, GB is definitely going to give the Lions some competition for Leinhart. I predict that Aaron rodgers spends some quality time at QB this year, and they decide between leinhart and a trade based on those results...<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Jauron watched and didn't screw up the bears in 2001. He then proceeded to coach the most pathetic offensive team in the history of the NFL (no, I don't have stats to prove it), with John Shoop as his disciple in patheticness. He took a team that had an amazing 13-3 season, mostly due to not screwing up, and destroyed it, turning it into a 3-13 team ...<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

You are being silly. The 2002 Bears (4-12 btw) were 27th in points and 29th in yards. Making them not even the most pathetic offensive team that YEAR (not even 2nd or 3rd most pathetic either
).

Until Lions ownership realizes where the problem really lies and does something about it (e.g. FIRING MILLEN) they're going to have to be content with seasons of mediocrity at best and downright embarassment at worst.CGN | a bunch of incoherent nonsense

The teams that scored less than them were Cincy, Dallas, and Houston. Equally pathetic... heck, what was worse about that year was the DEFENSE. 379 pts allowed ... compared to 203 the year before.
Cinci 2001-2002: 226 - 279 (+53)
Dallas 2001-2002: 246-217 (-29)
Chicago 2001-2002: 338-281 (-57)
That's pathetic ... and they didn't exactly lose an offensive superstar or anything. They scored 57 less points, and allowed 176 more ... with roughly the same personell. How is that not coaching? (And yes, I realize there were some injuries. That doesn't account for allowing 100% more points ...)<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

In 2002, the Bears beat the Falcons in week 2!
Mike Vick was horribly mediocre in passing for 166 yards (WHAT A SURPRISE)... but he did rush for 56 yards!
the Falcons finished 9-6-1 that yearTo us, it is the BEAST.

Wow you beat Vick in his 5th ever NFL start. Hooray for you.
Edit: make it 4th, actually.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
