I gotta give Alex Brown a lot of credit. He's really turned into a quality DE this year.

Bobby wade ... sigh. He's gotten smarter, in terms of letting punts go over his head past the 10, but he NEEDS to learn how to catch ... he's a WR, isn't he

Eh, I think he just needed to learn his job better. That said, he still has a long way to go

But, lots of PRs drop one punt. If it weren't for the 3 drop game, that one drop wouldn't bother us ... and that WAS an insane 40mph wind day, wasn't it?

Sigh ... pick Orton had been doing well on those, hopefully that's the only pick today ...

They are deep in their own territory with 2:00 minutes to go... maybe the defense can rise to the occasion again
              Keep on Civin'

mmm ... defense inside (either) 20

I wonder how the bears rank in terms of anti-red zone defense (how good they are inside the opponent's 20). If you count turnovers and such I think they'd rank very well

Snoopy -- let's be clear on this.

                  1. That was Wade's NINTH fumble of the season, more than any non-QB in the NFL, by far.
                  2. Of his 3 fumbles in the wind, only one was on the catch. The other two were getting stripped on the return, after a successful catch.

Bobby Wade just doesn't take care of the ball. As a punt returner, that's basically his only job. He should be fired. Immediately.

The Bears lead at the half 10 - 3... things could be worse

Man... Carr is just eating up the St Louis defense... three TD passes in the first half.

                        there's a shock

BTW, anybody watching ye bears game notice the incompetent announcers? Trying to tell us that the difference in the game was Simeon Rice knocking the ball out of Chris Simms' hand at the 1 Didn't recant either, said it several times in a row ...

As much as I wish Simeon played for the bears ...

Orton doesn't seem to bad, however, he's one of the few men I've seen that has a moustache that makes him look like a little boy.

Just from what I've seen, a team with a good TE could move the ball pretty well against the bears.

                          ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

                            yeah... let's talk about that...

they held the Panthers, who had previously averaged 27.4 pts per game, to 3 POINTS!!!

and they held the Bengals offense to their lowest offensive yardage production total of the year...

BTW, in the Bengals game, they held Cincinatti to 244 total yards... 8 yards below the Bears' defense #1 rated NFL best average defense yards allowed total for the year.

If the Bears had anything close to an offense resembling Indianapolis' offense, Chicago would be an unstoppable JUGGERNAUT!!!
To us, it is the BEAST.

That was a classic Green Bay screen. Bears fans have been wanting it for years. Great play!!!

Pushed TB right out of FG range with a key 3rd down sack.
