    • The name of the white house will get you extra virtual biscotti, but the city will do just fine.

      This is also there:

          • If you open it up in a picture viewer and adjust the "Gamma value", or increase the brightness, you can just about make it out. It looks like the second word is 'Library', but it's just too much on the blurry side to say for sure.

And you almost get the virtual biscotti, but ya didn't name Como House, which was the white Georgian/Colonial building.

                  Your turn, Winnie Hairy Breeks.

                  • Hairy Breeks? I'll take that as a... molly bloom-kind-of-thing to say.

Where is this from? Additional clues will be given as needed, but first, let's see if you folks can't manage without them.

                    • Well there's a blue letter in the bottom right, or a logo, which suggests that it's not the carpark in Gateshead (featured in Get Carter).

Copenhagen town hall? Or university or something.

                      • Good observation, duke o' york.

It is part of a logo, and I deliberately included just the tiny amount of it that you see.

In general the dominating colours of the picture could also be seen as an indirect lead as to the location.

                        • A major international event took place here in the mid-20th century.

                          • Aw, come on people.

Different view, picture taken minutes after police completely cleared the area of heavily intoxicated people, speaking in a most peculiar tongue.
