The Prodigy - Experience Expanded Album...

Experience of course being the superior album. Fun Fact, it was also my very first CD.

This morning I revved up my engines with:

The Lovin' Spoonful: Summer In The City'

followed by The Easybeats 'Friday On My Mind'

        then Groove Armada Presents...

and finally Brian Eno's 'This' promo. single...

thus proving that good things happen to people who buy Xmas/Hanukkah prezzies in charity shops...

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

No- but I shall look out for it.

Almost bought a D. J. Krush Japanese import single, but noticed it had somebody rapping on it, and decided that I'd buy the club promo. for Goldfrapp's 'Ooh La La' instead.

I was very bad/good yesterday- took some more vinyl to sell and bought :

              Moby: Hotel dbl c.d.

              Carla Bley Band: Live

              Kraftwerk: Minimum-Maximum promo.

              Eno: Kite Stories (signed copy)

Badly Drawn Boy: Have You Fed The Fish ? promo

              Paul Haig/Billy Mackenzie: Memory Palace

Beth Gibbons/Rustin Man: Out Of Season

and two Eno promo only singles, a promo sampler for Bowie's 'Platinum Collection', two Badly Drawn Boy singles, a Franz Ferdinand sampler and a Hope Sandoval single.

But I soothed my conscience and made purchases in charity shops so I don't have too much residual Catholic guilt at spoiling myself...

i was pretty disapointed by hotel tbh, maybe because almost all his other work is so good, but i'm not a big fan of the direction he's taken. there were a couple of good tracks but seriously dude, give the singing a rest...

anyway, THE record of the year (for me anyway)
