Smoking when drinking always gave me a wicked buzz. I was never a smoker in the traditional sense - in fact, I couldn't stand cigarettes when I wasn't drinking. I haven't touched a cig in years, though.

although cigarettes can be good practice for learning how to inhale smoke... which can be good to learn how to do before trying MJ

I smoked cigs for 3 years before I smoked marijuana for the first time...

it reduces the carcinogens in MJ smoke by over 75% (IIRC)

just some at night

and when I hang out with my friends

only for a 1-2 month period after my harvests

this year, between mar 30 and october I didn't smoke at all...

that was grow period... I don't buy marijuana... I only grow my own

I just planted my new batch on Nov 4th... I tried a new strain... "Misty"... it grows shorter and flowers faster... THC content is 14%-17%... the strain I usually grow is "White Widow"

I wanted to try something new...

just for the record, I don't sell... this is only for personal use

I just have a small set up in my closet... a 150W high pressure sodium lamp that runs maybe 16-18hrs a day early in the vegetative growth cycle, then 12 hrs a day during the flowering period

The vaporizer is the way to go if you're worried about carcinogens. Baking is nice too, but very time consuming - the vaporizer is much easier and healthier than a joint or bong.

I've got none of that here, though - I'm reduced to buying cheap stuff of dubious quality from Austrian guys in trenchcoats that hang around the subway stations. I envy Sava.

I love it, within like 10 posts the thread's been jacked over to a MJ discussion.

A friend of mine has the vaporizor thingy, but I dunno, it just feels wierd.

Cookies are time consuming, and it's difficult to gauge the strength... hence I haven't made a batch in years.

well the only problem with growing my own is that during the growing period, I sometimes get antsy...

Yeah, I'll prolly try that. It can't taste very good (regular gum + beer is bad, I mean) and the gum is hideously expensive (I know, I know, so are cigs and they kill you), but I will probably need *something* to help on the weekends. I don't smoke during the week now anyways, so that's no biggie.
