  • Religious or Spiritual Music

What are your favorite songs? More along the lines of rock & roll but can be contemporary Christian to new age, if its written and performed well I could care less what kind of music it is. But lately I'm on a spiritual kick, so... Here are a few of my favorites with a religious or spiritual tone

Fight the Good Fight - Triumph
    Last Chance - Shooting Star
Who's Behind the Door - Zebra
    Africa - Toto
    Prime Mover - Rush
    High Water - Rush
    The Voice - Moody Blues
What is Life - George Harrison
    Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve
    Seagull - Bad Company
Ballad of Youth - Richie Sambora
Heaven and Hell - Black Sabbath
    Cheyenne Anthem - Kansas
    Peace of Mind - Boston
    The Wall - Kansas

Oh yeah, gotta give to the guitarist for Jefferson Starship, Craig Chaquiro I think. Just listened to his solo on Save Your Love... Yousa, Starship doesnt jam much but they really cut loose on that song.

Well, Bach is of a similar vintage to your politics, so don't complain.

Babu Yetu - Christopher Tin feat. Talisman

The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.

Christopher Tin is termed "music". I would add, obscure.

Many psalms are beautiful, both melodically and in their lyrics. I think my favourite is Abide With Me, or in Danish Vær Du Mig Nær.

System of a Down - Chop Suey

doesn't seem like that band would write a religious song, but the lyrics at the end is jesus speaking to god...

to be honest though, it's not the religiousity of the song that I like... it's just good music

btw, the proper format is "artist - song title"

do you guys organize your music by song title first? I can't even imagine the chaos if I did that
To us, it is the BEAST.
