That's like comparing a $400 vintage with the crap my granddad made in his bathtub during prohibition!

      Yes there is.
Christian Rock has come a long way, and I think that's great.

        Hahhahahahahha!!!

That's true, even if I said Extol was one of my favorite religious/christian band. I really dont put Bach as equal at Extol... NEVER!!!

        See ya

There are few equals to Bach, in any field. I'd make the same remark viz the Beatles as I would Christian Rock.

Noones equalling Bach with contemporary christian pop-rock, all I was saying wa that theres more then Bach. He is one of the masters but lets not devaluate our contemporary fellowes...

How the hell? It's the leading critique of spiritualism from the early 70's!

I personally like "The Art of Living" group's stuff ( at least , I like that which I tried ) . From those , I like three

                        Chants of Buddha
                        Chants of Shiva
                        Chants of Vishnu

From the Buddha collection - the chant of Buddham Sharanam Gachchami .

From the Shiva one - the Shiva Manas Puja , the Bhavanyashtakam , and the Lingashtakam . I also like the Shiva Tandava Stotra , sung by Pandit Jasraj .

From the Vishnu collection - the Purushasuktam , and the Achyutashtakam .

Of course , I don't think even a single poster here will even have heard of , much less heard , these songs/chants/whatever .

theres a lot of electronic music with spiritual undertones, and some just have God in the title but rock anyway.

                                moby - hymm
moby - God moving over the face of the waters
darren tate - prayer for God
                                dumonde - God music
faithless - God is a dj (astral projection mix ftw)
                                mandrake - universal soul

and well loads of goa trance and the like.
