Do officers in the Swiss army have to bark their orders in four different languages?

It's probably fairly common that people would like to finish their studies before serving. I'm sure delaying it won't be a problem. ?

That is probobly why there is no exemption, and why he is not exception to be considered for one.

On one hand I hope you get what you want and don't get conscripted, OTOH, you may be for an interesting time in your life. Wait, how old are you?

no, they have mixed units (french - german) where the officers need to know two languages. Since all italiand speakers also speak german, those mixed units use german. And the non mixed units have offiercers who bark in a single language.
and then theres english too, the language that is most used to communicate between the french and german speakers.

There were Swiss soldiers in Kosovo when I was serving there, not to many but still they looked like decent soldiers. conscription sucks.

they were professional soldiers tho weren't they?
