When in doubt, post nonsense and insults, eh ?
The 'real world' knocks at my door every day- that is if you mean do I live six doors up from a mosque, and close to a large concentration of British Muslims and non-British Muslim immigrants.
Why, spookily enough, I even have Muslim friends, and went to school and worked with Muslims!
Clearly it was from Saudi and Iran Vogue that I was purloining my opinions, in lieu of actually bothering to use my lived experience, education and intelligence.
Here's where I live in multi-ethnic London, the London borough of Newham:
[QUOTE] Newham~{!/~}s application includes numerous examples of participation from people from hard to reach groups. Some are:
The Olympic Summer of Sport programme that attracted more than 64,000 visits with the highly successful Kids Swim Free scheme.
Newham Gold Cards - a leisure card for young people aged six to 18 that saw visits to leisure centres increasing by 300,000 to 1,580,544, with 61 per cent of those visitors coming from black and minority ethnic communities.
The Newham Volunteers programme where 78 per cent of the inducted volunteers come from black and minority ethnic communities.
The Under the Stars multi-cultural music programme with music ranging from Eastern Europe to Bollywood.
The Libraries summer programme helped increase visits to 1,983,610 - one of the highest in London, with 71 per cent of those visits made by people from black and minority ethnic communities.
The Africabana Carnival and the Runga Rung Festival of Light celebrating the African/Caribbean and Asian cultures.

Diversity where I live:
Newham has the youngest and most diverse population in the UK. Over 40 per cent of the 254,000 people in Newham are under 25 years old and more than 100 languages are spoken locally - from Albanian to Zhuang. All of which makes for an exciting area rich in culture, flavour and atmosphere where local people take great pride in being part of a global village.
