Ah, Viikate...now there is an awesome band! I had one of my friends mail me one of their studio albums in exchange for a Canadian werewolf film.

Fantastic band.

Amorphis are awesome too, though I found their last album (at least the last one I heard: Far From the Sun, I think) to be quite weak. Before that though, they were fantastic.

My favorite Finnish band remains Thergothon though.

I have the latest viikate album. Never heared about Thergothon tho. What kind of metal/music? I so hate that its hard to buy metal cd's of some bands in the netherlands. Thank god someone i know from finland is coming to the netherlands in march. So that i can have some cd's instead of illiegally d/l mp3's which id rather not have.

Thergothon were a funeral doom band. They released only one album, but it's one of the best doom albums ever, in my opinion. Like the rest of the funeral doom genre though, it takes a bit of getting used to.
