Wow, believe it or not there is one week left and no one has clinched a play off spot.

It will take a small miracle for Lincoln or me to get knocked out, but there's a bunch of people still mathematically alive. Quite a competitive league...

Okay, enough results are in: playoff picture

I'm assuming the criterion is record and point total and not H-2-H. The points actually matter more in my mind, they just threw H-2-H in to make it more interesting. But who knows, H-2-H is used in baseball. Uh oh, that would mess all this up, any 1 of the 9-5 teams could be in or out and the Emus could still make it into the 2nd bracket.

In a stunning reversal, both 9-4 teams (Berzerkers and Lincoln's Pockets) lose their final games creating a 5 way tie for 1st place. At least there is logic to the Football God's decree, it is only fitting the point total champion also finish first.

The Cardiff Dragons win the season by virtue of the highest point total and a 9-5 record, congrats

Despite strong finishes the Deviations and Emus miss out on the playoff picture with the Hobgoblins and Skull munchers out of it going into the final week.

The Tossers stop the slide just in time with a strong week securing the 6th seed in the Consolation bracket behind a powerful and surging Kreigsgwitter who finished 9-5 and who might have won 1st place had he not disappeared for a least 1 week. The Benchwarmers show a little luck of the Irish by making the most out of a low point total (10th) by winning the 8th seed and the Sasquatches end up with the 7th seed.

Looks like my team has taken a hit thanks to Seattle's dominance out west. I'll be lucky if if Shaun Alexander even plays the 1st half the rest of the way. Holmgren looks like he's slowing him down so the potential records Alexander is shooting for wont even be a factor the next 3 weeks. Damn you, Holmgren! Last year he screwed Alexander out of a shot at the rushing title and now he wont let him go for the TD and rushing title. If I was Alexander I'd seek employment elsewhere, loyalty goes both ways. The team that are going to be playing are set... the order is not. We could have a season where the top 4 teams all have a 10-4 record. 4-way tie for 1st with only tot points making the difference.

On the one hand, I agree with you. Sneak beat me, and I sympathize hugely with him, because he's also my Lombardi team buddy, but I do have to make this point. I won seven of my last eight matches, averaging 144.19 points per week (hi: 163.71 / lo: 132.72). This has allowed me to become the top scoring team in the league.
