I'm going to blame Bush for any problems I get from drinking diet soda.

There's a Republican conspiracy behind this, I swear -- they got FBI statistics that show that more liberals than conservatives drink diet soda, so they mastermind a scheme where liberals will get cancer and become overweight from drinking the stuff.
Clearly the evil plan is back firing then.

The evil plan did work getting the liberals fat, but that just made them mad, and with the associated lack of interest in athletics (from being fat) they spend their time fiddling around with cameras making documentaries attacking the Dear Leader.

The rest of them use their lardness as an excuse to call for more government intervention in people's personal lives and regulation on snack foods, and lawsuits against fast food joints, and fat taxes, etc..

A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

I remember a few years back a news article claiming that fizzy drinks were bad for the bones, especially young children and adolescents. There were a few nutjobs claiming that the carbon dioxide in the drinks were decalcifying the bones.

It turned out that it was partially because young people were drinking more soda they were drinking less milk. Hence the increased instances of bone problems.

There may be an association to these things, but as Snoopy says, cause and effect are not as simple as measuring A and B.

Correction: American coffee is disgusting. Ask the Italians for the real thing (the French can teach one thing or two, but we are but shadows of the Italian greatness ).

That's alright -- I think I will try drinking piss before I drink any kind of coffee from anywhere in the world.
