      1GB Ram
      200GB
      best graphics card Best Buy had
      17" flat-screen monitor

      Total price: ~$2000

      This thing will play ANY game for at least the next 3 years, especially with that processor and graphics card.

                  right click on your desktop, click on properties... go to your settings tab... under the picture of the monitor it should say what you monitor and video card you are using...

                          when I went to college I still took my desktop PC...

                          and back then, I had my monstrous 19inch CRT monitor that weighs like 50-75 pounds...

                          I even drove home on weekends (to work) and brought my PC and monitor with me (including my cat, laundry, and huge duffle bag)
                          To us, it is the BEAST.

                                I don't think Odin lives on campus, he lives at home and commutes to school. That would make it rather silly to carry his desktop back and forth, wouldn't it?
