Monster cables are over-hyped, over-priced crap.
You may be right, I never read a review of their products.

Seriously, if you want to go go with the Monster cable, more power to you.

But why pay $50+ for something when a $15 cord could do the same job, just as well?
It seems that paying 50$ or 60$ for better cables is a good investment: it makes quite a difference. Now, I wouldn't pay that much for an iPod, but for my stereo, I wouldn't mind.

Perhaps--and you already did spend extra money for an iPod, when a Zen could have done the job.

I bought the iPod Mini because it was cheaper than the Zen Micro, 80$ cheaper. With that extra money, I bought a decent pair of headphones.

hmm is there a noticeable improvement of quality by setting the Kbps rate higher than the average 180, or are you just a sound quality geek?
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

You mean 128 Kbps? I started a thread on this a while back. I'm still a bit sceptical about it all, but I'm keeping my MP3's at 224 Kbps, just in case...
