I bet it is easier to defend one place than 20 as well.

The ugliest building in the world
Collapse

We have a few more candidates for the world's ugliest building. First off is Two Columbus Circle in NYC which was built in 1963 and was then considered "innovative" since it had no windows. The reality is it is an ungly concrete box with no windows.
Another 60's era waste of space is the Yale School of Art & Architecture which sums up why you should never hire an architect who studied at Yale. The designers didn't take into account the geography of where the building was going to go so it is perpetually dark and the drainage is crap so the basement routinely has to have water pumped out. This has resulted in the whole building having a mold problem. Never ever trust an avant garde architect.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Well, the building to the right of the lair of Cthulhu in Thessalonike looks absolutely pathetic. The church itself is sunk deep below ground level, so it creates the illusion of being a sort of underground realm. I detest buildings like the one to the right though.

It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Caso Battlo is weird looking. Not ugly, though, since it has some sort of symmetry.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter.
