well that's exactly the thing. I have noticed that I usually don't get the same results. And that yahoo's results are more in tune for what I'm looking for. Google seems more chaotic for me. I think it is because of what che said.

It's easy to customize too...click and drag instantly moves them around, add an RSS feed, etc.

I like the way it is, totally minimalistic!

That has good and bad points. For starters, that will exclude (most) personal sites with interesting information, or at least opinions.

I hate masses of worthless and annoying links on my page that I might accidentally click, like on yagoo.
Google looks simple, and it has the best layout

What would happen if you write "Yahoo" in Google and "Google" in Yahoo?

Well, if you google "google" and press "I feel lucky"... It goes to google.com.

I havent tried yahoo in a long while but I'm damn sure that google aint what it used to be. I hardly ever get hits on what I want anymore even when looking for 'non-commercial' info.

I've learned that the Yahoo Games areas, at least the checkers rooms, are used for cyber sex as well as playing checkers... sick!

I think you're just trying to be cool by doing something different

I was wondering how long it would take before Google was too mainstream for people to start rejecting it just because everyone likes it.

It also means that people who don't feel like paying Yahoo a listing fee don't get found by people who use yahoo.

Yahoo is a genuine search engine with crawlers now. They haven't been just a directory-search for a while.
