It is also questionable if the secular Kurds and fundimentalist shi'a can hold together this marriage of convience. Up until now it has been mutual dislike of the sunni Arabs which has kept them together but what happens when the civil war is raging and the Kurds don't like religious laws the Shi'a keep forcing through? Or what happens when the Kurdish political class can no longer placate their people's desire for independence with autonomy? What would the other two do if the Kurds made their 5th or 6th bid for independence since WW1?

Well, let's hope GTA is never released in Arabic.

Rufus: , oh trust me, I doubt that's the case, knowing my roommate. He has a tremendous sex drive. In fact, a problem that he had in his failed engagement a few years ago was that his fiance only had sex with him once a week at the most.

This has been discussed ad naseum in the Civ 4 forum. There's not one bit of indication that the moved up release date is going to negatively impact the quality of the game. Since Firaxis had playable versions over a year and a half ago, the date move up was also done because it's going to be ready sooner than anticipated.

I know a couple where that happened- My cousin left her b/f because he couldn't get out of the multiplayer world of Baldur's Gate (or was it a more recent RP-world?)

Well, fi you look at the recently completed leaderheads, you'll notice they are significantly less well-done than the ones previously released (they look much more plastic)

I hope the gameplay will be just as good as with the old release date, but I seriously fear the last graphics will be below the par of the older ones.

So did the woman know that her boyfriend had an interest in shooting folks in the hood, and all that? My experience is that female SO's are not only concerned with the time you spend playing, but can actually be concerned about the content

and Civ players have an interest in genocide and mass murder right?

at least in civ2 there is no mass murder, unless you use the exploit of starving a city down. I cant speak for you weirdo civ3 players

I can see a GF being concerned abotu nukes. But seeing as they only come at the end of the game, and in some games dont happen at all, I would doubt that would come up much. Whereas GTA seems to be ALL about certain themee.

Now if your GF was a pacifist, that would be something else. I have no experience with a SO whos a pacifist.

what about attacking defenseless settlers!?!?! or attacking cities with no military units in them? especially if they are like above a 10 or higher, you could kill like 100,000 people just by taking it over!!!

okay, you can insult GTA all you want, but don't ever call me a Civ3 player!

its been a while, but i could swear ive lost units to "defenseless" settlers.

thats the result of the disorder of occupation, i suppose.

Im still not sure how insulted GTA. I didnt mean to imply that GTA players wanted to go out deal drugs andf kill people (hell most GTA playes cant even drive, AFACIT )

But GTA is ABOUT those things, just as Civ is about global struggle and war. I can see a woman being concerned about a civ players interest in war, and a GTA players interests.
