I met a girl who I love and enjoy in every way but that I think she is a bit of a racist. I cannot be sure because these quotes are obscure in their connotations, but she uses some of them frequently. Should I interrogate her for any of the below phrases (ie, are they racist or not) -
1. When listening to DMX on the radio:: That's really low-rent music.
2. When eating fried chicken at KFC:: All I need is some ribs and beer to wash this crap down. I had always thought KFC served ribs and so I let this slide, but I have recently learned that they do not.
3. When watching a trailer for 50 cent's new movie:: Ooga-booga.
4. When asked about the new Pope Benedict:: At least he's not some low-rent yokel. This I think is doubly racist but need some confirmation.
And then there's the little things - she likes country music and avoids dancing. I was wondering if any of the above phrases or behaviors rings a bell with your relationships.
