I have a recipe somewhere for a Moroccan graprefruit and watercress salad, with olives, pepper and salt and coriander and flat parsley. It is so refreshing and delicious.

Potatoes are a vegetable, right? Then salad is great. Especially when it's cut up, fried, lightly salted, and doused in tobasco.

Salad -yummy!! Lettuce is just great, Ruccola so delicate, Radicchio of such fine bitterness. And the variety of tasteful dressings - Balsamico with Olive Oil, Pumpkinseed-Oil with Apple-Vinegar.

There many types of salads not those that just contain lettuce. There is tuna fish salad that consists of tuna eggs pickles and mayo, then there is maccroni salad that has maccoroni egss pickles green olives cheese and mayo My favorite is chicken ceasar salad though

I prefer spinach to lettuce..

but I don't really like salad.. and dislike none vegetable salads even more..

Spinach is pretty tasteless but at least it is a little more versatile in my opinion and you can do stuff with it...

I LOVE salad...as long as the primary constituents, by weight, are fried chicken, bacon, cheese, and/or eggs.

Same way I LOVE yoghurt...as long as it's covered in fudge, caramel, pecans or oreo bits.

Salad is the shiz-nit.

As a side, it is good.

As a meal, so long as you throw some goodies in there it's good. Most of my friends don't even like eating veggies just cause they don't like the taste...they'd rather eat Macaroni "salad" or potato "salad".

My fav is Spinach, tomato, mushroom, bells, broccolli, and other goodies. My damned mouth is watering from all this. Besides, veggies help against colon cancer.

Salad is yummy. But then again, I tend to eat unhealthy salads doused in blue cheese dressing...
