    Young players on the Raptors roster will have extra incentive to play well this season.

    If they don't shape up, general manager Rob Babcock can ship them out to one of the more remote and less glamorous locations in the National Basketball Development League.

    The NBA announced yesterday that the Raptors new minor-league affiliate will be the Arkansas RimRockers. Under a new agreement, NBA teams will be able to send players to the NBDL for seasoning, provided that the player has no more than one year of service in the NBA.

    The RimRockers, who play out of the Alltell Arena in North Little Rock, Ark., will be affiliated with the Raptors as well as the Memphis Grizzles, Cleveland Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks.

              Sorry to break it to you mrmitchell, but every part of this country has to live with its stereotypes.

              Californians as dumb asses
              Texans as gun crazy rednecks
              Mississippians as cousin marrying hicks (ditto for West Virginians)
              New Yorkers as insuferable jerks

              so forth and so on.

              And Arkansas is simply not every really on anyone's mind, outside of those from or in Arkansas.

                  For what it's worth, the Toronto Sun is our nearly bankrupt trash tabloid rag.

                  And looking at the NBADL, there ain't alot of glamorous locations: Albuquerque, Arkansas, Austin, Fayetteville (sweet!), Florida (Naples), Fort Worth, Roanoke and Tulsa.

                    Did I miss something important here??
                    I dont get what you are saying mr mittchell. Especially about the more Bias and 75000 evacuees. Id ask you to explain but dont for fear of pissing you off more

                      I understand his POV. You live in a less travelled part of the world. You know it's a great place, yet every once in a while some clown from 'the bigs' writes or broadcasts some ill conceived and usually completely inaccurate crap about 'home'.

                      Being in Texas, I would expect you'd be familiar with the phenomena.

                          Ahh ty nye Naa not used to it, just dont listen to the **** that comes out of the mouths of folks that love to talk crap. Arkansas is not a bad state its not popular like new york but its nice. Clinton must give it bad rap though
