Why we're going free

Opera has removed the banners, found within our browser, and the licensing fee. Opera's growth, due to tremendous worldwide customer support, has made today's milestone an achievable goal.

With the major reason not to use it gone, there really is no excuse for people to not try it now.

I still havent gotten the hang of this firefox thing and i've been using it for like 2 months now. I'll be happy to switch back.

I will admit that it's a big step forward. But I still wouldn't use Opera over Firefox even if they paid me its former price.
