I use Newzie, and used FeedReader before that.

I switched from FeedReader because it didnt offer enough functionality, but recently Newzie started crashing randomly and stayed in the memory even after closing the program, thus eating ~30MB of RAM. So I'm looking for a better reader now.

The Poly feed seems to be working fine.

BTW, I reccomend you to use the entire text of the entries, it's annoying as hell to be forced to go to the original site to read the full text of an interesting post.

I subscribed and they work fine.

I second what Eli said about including more text.

Supposedly Thunderbird can do RSS and newsgroups, but I'm too stupid to figure out how.

On the other hand, if the text is the same you send in the email newsletter, then it doesn't make sense to replace the newsletter with RSS.

the newsletter has taken another pause the last months

even if it was still going on, there's a difference between a weekly update and an instant update
