Most said we didn't want Lithuania in the quarterfinals. Because even though it was weaker it was still Lithuania. And also because France is more in our style and we can beat them. But France, in the second game, was all the money. Also who else could bring upside down a lead of 7 points in just 50 seconds? That's why I say the Dragon made every one who didn't believe in his strategy to bow down.
Also great atmosphere in Belgrade. Really amazing.

All those NBA "stars" btw are for ****! Only Nowitzi was worth something and was recognized with the clapping of the people but it was a bit unhealthy reaction to see him quit 3 mins before the game was over. OK it was impossible to win us but I thought for the honor of arms one should never leave the game untill it's over. But I guess it is stupid to fight the inevitable either.
France was unrecognizable from the 1st match when we crushed it. The 2nd match it was a different team. I haven't seen any of the other matches but I think Lithuania lost from France? Lithuania had 50% of its best players missing. Anyway. We won because we were a good company. As the song says: companies write history. I antithesize this with the great school of basketball of yugoslavia and all its recognision. But when the Serbs are busy fighting about who has the best car or best girlfriend you can't go far in the tournament. But I think they are happy in their sadness that if they didn't win it, we did. Thanks to everyone who said thanks and to the Serbs for creating a great atmosphere for us and for all.
