Sounds like a project. Need to learn how to write DHTML though.

I think I'll have it replace his posts by "All hail glorious Macedonia"

I just want to share that I think one of the main Firefox developers is pretty cute.

          He's 19 I think.

It basically forces extensions not flagged as working with 1.4 to work with them, and most good ones will. Use at your own risk.
Thanks! I'll try it when I get home!

One question: What's that orange-red flag people seem to have adopted in droves?

That is the Macedonian flag. Markos is promoting Macedonia in this thread:

It can disable ads in Google.

Google has the best ads of any site. Those ads support the most useful site on the web. Removing them undercuts the entire thing and eventually could make extensions like this useless, because it doesn't exist.

Hey I downloaded some firefox update, and now its calling my firefox Deer Park Alpha 2, what the hell?! its like version 1.6a1.

Btw thanks to whoever linked to the nightly tools website, cause I was having to enable extensions by hand until that.

1.6a1/Deer Park Alpha 2 is the trunk...you want the branch, Firefox 1.4 (1.5 beta 1)

The branch is the bunch of code that is intended for release.

The trunk is the code that will eventually make up Firefox 2.0. So lots of experimental support is being checked in there that won't be in 1.5 (including native vector/Cairo support, and a totally new graphics/interface engine).
