  • Anyone watching the Giants/Saints game?

You know, I don't blame the Giants fans from going out to enjoy their own team. But the way they have been cheering loudly on defense in such a way as to make it harder for the offense to run- they should know this extra home game only because of a hurricane which killed thousands of people. Truly a classless act by the Giants fans.

    Giants Fans

Oh, and a huge to the NFL suits who scheduled this game of all places in the New York area. There was no reason they needed to do that, and they punished the Saints with all they have been through with another away game. Would have made more sense to put in Texas where there'd be more Saints fans and where there would also be local Cowboys Fans who would have come out to cheer against their division rival.

    • I have no problem with the fans cheering for the "home" team. They paid for tickets and can cheer however they want.

I do have a SERIOUS problem with the NFL scheduling the game in New York... That's just WRONG!

        • Am I the only one watching? After three and a half tedious quarters, this game is finally really ****ing good.

            • OH YEAH!

Tremendous win for our team, and considering how we have been playing against Dallas we REALLY needed this one. Now if our offense can just play like it did in the 4th quarter, we're going to be set for the season.

I did turn off the game and was totally shocked when I heard the final score on the radio while driving to work this morning.

You missed a really good half a quarter. I started watching again just as it got interesting.

Brunell got sacked for a 17 yard loss. It was 3rd and 27, he ran for 25, then on 4th down had a nice 10-15 yard pass. Then after a bit it was like 4th and 7, and he completed for like a 40 yard touchdown.

Dallas got the ball back and didn't do much with it, punted. Brunell smoked them with a long 70-80ish yard touchdown pass.

All in like 5 minutes. What an incredible comeback.

                            • I think they had as many yards in the last half of the 4th quarter than they had the whole game up to that point.

                              • While Washington did beat the Bears in week one, it was a lame performance at best... held to three field goals. I thought there was NO was they could produce two touchdowns in the remaining time based on what the first part of the game, and the week before.

                                What a surprise.
