  • The backup is throwing to Mason more. Boller is a stupid QB.

    • To everyone in League II who laughed at my defense choice...

      INDIANAPOLIS - DEF - 27.20 points.

      • Things don't look good for the overs on the bears. On the other hand, I don't understand why a lot of sports writers were on the Raven's bandwagon. Their offense is too 1 dimensional and their defense is on the cusp of getting old.

        • Panthers | More on Jenkins' Injury
          Mon, 12 Sep 2005 09:42:08 -0700

Updating a previous report, Carolina Panthers head coach John Fox said DT Kris Jenkins (knee) left the season opener Sunday, Sept. 11, early with a knee injury, but returned and suffered a torn ACL in his right knee, ending his 2005 season. Fox noted that team doctors felt it was okay for Jenkins to return to the field following the initial injury.

            But Jason Hanson is hurt...

It looks like he'll be alright though. He only sat out like 2 kicks, and still got an extra point and field goal. I think he just pulled it, he should (in my expert medical opinion) be back to the old Jason Hanson next week.

But yea, the Lions are undefeated AND number one in the division!!

Since I was back in Michigan this weekend I was even able to watch the game, which was nice, cause I probably won't be able to watch another one till Thanksgiving. I think the team looked decent, but I wasn't necessarily blown away. If GB didn't have all those penalities it would have been a much closer game.

This was a good football week for me. My number 1 team won, my number 2 team won ('skins), and the skins win helped the lions out. Three thumbs up.

            • Javon Walker is out for the season...

gonna be a long year for the Packers

              • If the defense can cut back on all the penalties (Ahmad Carroll I'm looking at you) they should be able to do fairly well this year. Losing Walker is obviously a big blow but I think Ferguson and Driver can step it up and get the job done.

Worst case I see the Packers finishing 2nd in the division.

                • This game is going to be good. I think Atlanta will do better than last time they played, but still not win.

                              • The Atlanta Falcons should consider moving to the NHL for two reasons: 1) They would have a better chance of winning a championship; 2) Their insecure tactic of having a scrub pick a fight with one of the other team's best players to get that player disqualified fits right in with the NHL.
