Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

I need this kind of advice, too. I've been feeling tired recently, with no idea where it comes from. I sleep enough, eat enough, eat decently AFAIk and yet my brain doesn't function effectively, nor can I get up to do stuff. Weird one, maybe it's because my digestion needs to adapt back to this cuisine, but then I've returned more than a week ago already.

Tonight I need to type as many pages of this home project as possible. So I'll cook pasta (spaghetti) with vegetarian sauce (onion, garlic, zucchini, red wine, tomato). With it I'll have green tea (Oolong probably) and then see how good I am.

As far as exercising is concerned, I do go to the gym, which is alright for me since I'm more into building uzp muscle, NOT losing fat.

Eat oatmeal for breakfast or failing that bring some with you in a container and eat it at lunch, if you think the taste is boring add a little honey, cinnamon, berries or something. Oatmeal is incredibly good food that will last long in your stomach and it's cheap.
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars

Lasting long doesn't really matter. I want to gain some weight too, so eating more is OK. It's supposed to put me and my brains on the feet in the first place.

Oatmeal is full of good carbs and minerals, as well as good fat that will help you put on the muscle. A breakfast of a bowl of oatmeal with something protein rich on the side like low fat spread cheese on wholemeal bread is a very good muscle building breakfast.

Try a non-creamy (i.e. Minestrone) soup with your lunch.

Oatmeal muesli is quite popular here, I just never fancied the boring taste of it... even adding honey and banana gets a bit dull after time.

What does the minstrone etc. soup do?

Well, it perks me up. Bits of pasta and vegetables of a tomatoish persuasion, Must be the carbs, I suppose.

                      I understand.

Never realy had baked beans. My breakfast is usually:

                            - two slices of toast with honey or nutella (or equivalent thereof)
                            - one slice of dark corn bread with some cheese and one tomato in slices on it
                            - one egg (boiled)
                            - one pear/apple/banana, depending on what's in the house
                            - all this with a glass of orange juice and a cup of tea (for breakfast this is rooibos, nothing special)

Between breakfast and lunch I will have sandwiches of the same dark corn bread with ham/chicken (1 each), cheese and a leaf of lettuce.

This is the ideal anyway, there's always single components missing etc.

                              my breakfast:

one Jimmy Dean Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit

with a glass of Minute Maid Raspberry Lemonade

and after breakfast I enjoy coffee in my 16 oz travel mug with a little bit of non dairy creamer
To us, it is the BEAST.
