Damn, now that brings back memories! I had a cat whose litter of kittens contained a feisty explorer who looked exactly like that kitten!

Shadow is an excellent mouser (gets it from his mom) - he brings home all sorts of dead animals he's caught.

Oh yeah. Once he started "marking his territory" inside of our house, we took a little trip to the vet. "Fixed" that problem!

I'll see if I can dig out a more recent pic (he's about 10 months now).

For some time I have been thinking about getting a cat, but I'm not sure what it requires. Is there a site that explains what is needed?

            Ask away.

Always a good thing to read something on cats, there's thousands of site outthere (Boris once gave some good addresses).

                      Cats!

You remind me that I have to make a recent foto of my cousin's cat before the poor bugger goes to the eternal mouse-hunting grounds.
He's 18 now and one can really notice how he's becoming senile. He used to be the best hunter around (and kicked neighbour cats' ass, now sick birds can dance on his back. He used to jump always to the same spot to get petted and now, beside being to old to jump up there, he seems to forget his daily routines. I love this cat so much that I'll surely cry like a baby when he dies and I can already see that day coming.

Hey, 19 is pretty good for a cat. She had a comfy, cozy life. The last year was rough--I went home a few times, and she wasn't very mobile and didn't seem to see very well. She had also stopped grooming herself. My mom couldn't bring herself to have her put to sleep, though. She didn't have to, thankfully, as she passed in her sleep just after new years in 2001.

I do miss her, and occasionally have dreams about her. I wish I could get a cat, but it isn't possible at the moment.

for some reason, I can watch holocaust stuff and all kinds of horrible human tragedies...

but I can not handle bad stuff happening to kitties...
