OK, wait a minute. According to Bureau of Justice Statistics 56% of victims had some sort of relationship with their murderers, but only 78% of these knew their murderers? Well, if a woman, her new husband, and their kids were all of sudden killed by the woman's ex-husband, then all of them were killed by someone with a relation to them (having been the wife and mother's ex-husband) even thought maybe only 1 of them actually knew the murderer.
