Yeah, but you have horrible doubts the next morning. I remember the day my boss let me come in late to work so I could watch the England -Brazil game at the last World Cup. She was Scottish, so it was incredibly generous, but she wouldn't let me come in late to watch the Korea-Germany game.

Dont you think we rode our luck at all? They hit our bar, were constantly free to play balls into our box, and had several free efforts on goal.

If we closed them out completely and it still ended 1-0 then fine, but we didnt. The result couldve been different, when it shouldnt have ever been in question.

It wont be 1-0 against any team in Germany if we play like that.

We should have played 5 across midfield when Beckham was sent off. Putting a defender on (King) just invites pressure deeper.

I think Hansen mentioned we were marking their one man with all our defence, that was stupid and invited plenty of deeper pressure from their midfield too.

Even before we went to 10 men we were only closing down in front of our box. They werent even sitting back like Wales or NI, if we closed them down and picked it up further up field we couldve battered them.

I dunno if Sven is trying to make us play the counterattack waiting game or what but its not working.

We've had a pretty good season so far, won a couple of tennis games and also the odd cycling race, we can't complain.
