      5,000

Isn't that the record for hurricane deaths?

Only for the U.S. Hurricane Mitch, just a few years ago, killed 10,000 in Honduras and Nicaragua, and I'm sure that some Asian taifuns have killed more than that.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

I was referring to the fact that your original reply to mine both contradicts itself and shows a complete ignorance to the mechanics and connection behind hurricanes and global warming...

This second reply of yours is pure idiocy and has quite rightly been ridiculed.

I suggest you now go away and read some elementary texts on the subject because we are to blame for the increased CO2 levels (and CH4 levels) and that is responsible for global warming - which just happens to elevate the likelihood of creating the conditions required for a hurricane...

Now go away and stop wasting our time...
            You're still around ?

Have you decided for a name of the planet you are on ?

            • well CNN certainly has it's priorities straight...

I flipped to it today around noon and here's the headline I see

              Mississippi casinos flooded

and the stupid woman reported was talking to the governor about how the casinos were flooded...

Hey this is fun, I keep showing what a prat you've been and you can't even defend yourself...

Here's an interesting concept, why not refute my claims by backing your arguments up...?

                • I found this link...

Fox News guy Sheppard Smith is on location on a cell phone and asks a guy what he's still doing in the area even though the hurricane is coming... listen to his answer... it's funny http://tiger.towson.edu/users/bstelt1/tvn/shep.mov

I don't need to defend myself, since you are not attacking. All what you have done is claiming unverifiable singleliners totally without any support.

If you really want a change, why don't you then try to back up your claims with just a minimum of valid references.

Sorry. Didn't intentionally wan't to disturb the issue, but MOBIUS has a way of pissing people off so they forget the original topic.

Hope you have it better with your squirrel thoughts.

                        • I'm a lot better today, actually. I was feeling terribly guilty about the squirrel yesterday. You can see how cute it was in the pics thread.

                          • Damn you - all it needed was a day or two resting at your place.

Being owned by a cat for several years, I though understand you, it could have been trouble.

Your pics tells that there was nothing funny about the situation. Humans may think that they are in control but when nature flexes it's muscles we can't really compete.

So you're admitting I've pissed you off and you've forgotten the original topic?

Hardly a way to win an argument - even on Poly...

Good, just to remind you there's a bunch of points I handed your ass to you about that until now you've dodged by 'attacking the poster and not the topic', would you be so kind as to answer them as I took the time to answer yours...?
