  • Moths: So Stupid.

Well they are, aren't they? I had the window open in the kitchen for a bit whilst I was cooking and I found six of the buggers had drowned in the washing up bowl. I mean, don't they realise they can't swim.

Oh and that policy of fly towards the light no matter what...not really the best one is it? I have also had one fly straight into the hob with rather unpleasant results for the aforementioned moth.

Perhaps they need to rethink their life strategy?

They spend all day hiding from the sun but when night comes and the faintest of light appears....

See, if the creationists had mentioned moths years ago I would be in church praying away now. Hallelujah!

Plus it would be quite encouraging for creationists - it would mean God has a sense of humour

well if there is a god, and he does wield some influence over what goes on here on earth, he has to have a sense of humor...

                    I mean come on...

I like moths. They're like butterflies, but not so sissy and kitchy way. They have a style. They're extremly beautiful, but their beauty is more subtle than that of butterflies. OK. They kind of die in hundreds due to their stupidity, but it's natural for bugs of any kind.

you don't know anything about moths unless you have lived through a moth migration.. which happens once a year here where i live.. masses of them.. some years are worse than other years.. not sure what that is about.. maybe rain or lack of.. .. one year was so bad i was up 2 am fly swat in hand beating them off , they had found a way down the bathroom vent.. the hallway was full of them.. aggg it was disgusting.. now my house is tight and i don't get many in.. just happens for a few weeks every year.. so its not all the time..
