funny how right wingers say they're all about freedom and war to spread freedom... but when left leaning people decide to fight for rights, they're "criminals" and should be "shot" if they throw molotov cocktails...
fight the system
I only wish one day in America the people have the balls to take back their country from the scum infesting the government. To us, it is the BEAST.

I don't have a problem with cops shooting people who are winging molotovs at them. Even the biggest scumbag in the world has the right to try and defend themslves.Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Btw, just for Sava, I hope the labor protesters get pounded all the way into 2205.

I dunno if they are protesting against low wages, but:
Share of Wages/Salaries/Employee compensation in GDP:
South Korea: 62%
United States: 49%
Euro Zone: 48%
Although I suppose they could have been protesting about this:
Annual average hours worked:
South Korea: 2,392
United States: 1,819
Euro Zone: 1,55119th Century Liberal, 21st Century European

That's a fricking awesome stat. Say, you know the figures for Israel? I've always wondered.
46 hours a weeks? sounds about right for Israel, too. :/ again, do you have the stats for Israel?South Korea: 2,392
( curiosity)
Drafting police sux. But they do it here, also.

It's largely the second bit and the standard "close down the factory and ship all the jobs to China" stuff, manufacturing jobs in Korea are quite well paying relative to GDP.Although I suppose they could have been protesting about this:

Yeah we need more socially responsible capitalism, not so much the max-shareholder-value-at-any-cost one. Its good workers protests against unsustainable profit maximisation and hold on to their jobs. Actually South Korea has by far the highest share of wages in GDP (the next highest being my native Britian and also Japan, both at 55% - the lowest being Norway with 33%)
Unfortunately the data is from the OECD of which Israel is not a member.
If you can find an english version of the Israeli national accounts (I looked at http://www.cbs.gov.il/ but can't find an english version) then I can tell you the wage share in GDP (assuming it's done using SIC1993)
I can't seem to find data on the average hours worked.19th Century Liberal, 21st Century European

They seem to have a different way of riot policing than Europe. In Europe there'd be far more evidence for water cannons, as well as mounted charges on armored horseback. Guess it's what runs in the culture
I know that even in England that guy with the flamethrower in the bongine wmv would have had a good chance of being shot down.

el freako: It's rather hard to assess, because there are about 200k workers which aren't Israeli citizens ( palestinians and other foreign workers) If we count for all workforce, both Israeli and foreign, it should be just as fair:
Here are workforce and wage stats:
And I think this is the core data we're looking for ( I'll appreciate it very much if you decipher it.
